The Development:

 

ETV(throttle mapping): throttle mapping was completely redone to ensure smooth part throttle transitions at any rpm/gear. Throttle bodies will open up to 100% now the instant you go full throttle. Your on/off/on throttle transitions will be noticably more smooth. 

 

Ignition Mapping: We played with this on the dyno after the fueling was tuned to our recommended AFR target. We revised the midrange area of the timing maps which helps produce a smoother acceleration rate. Full throttle timing changes were made in very specific rpm ranges. We noticed certain areas didn't like any additional timing as the bike actual lost power, so we obviously reverted back to the stock timing in those specific areas

 

Fuel: TPS/IAP

With just an exhaust and air filter these bikes are running dangerously lean. We saw AFR between 16.5-15.0 from 3k rpms up to around 11k rpms, and it was lean in the upper rpms as well. Part throttle required a lot of fueling changes as well. The bike will "break up" from being to lean and really makes throttle control non existent. The entire fuel map for full throttle and part throttle has been corrected to run optimal. 

 

Engine Brake: 

We smoothed out the factory engine brake to make it less harsh on your wrists during decel. Doing this not only makes the "ride" more comfortable, but also helps the on/off/on throttle transitons smooth

 

Intake Flap RPM: for those that don't remove this, we've acclerated the opening and closing rpm of the flap to ensure you're getting the max air flow into the plenum

 

Exhaust Valve: For those that don't remove the exhaust valve, we adjust the oem one to open up quicky to get the exhaust out as fast as possible.

 

Top speed limiter has been removed

 

Fan engagement comes on at 190*F to keep the bike running much cooler

8-14whp from 6k-11k rpms

Peak gains: 30whp

13,500rpms+ 80-100whp gains

 

Torque gains

8TQ from 3k-10k rpms

25TQ + from 12,500rpms to limiter
