This harness allows you to use a standard OBD-II automotive scanner with your bike. Many later model bikes can no longer display error codes on their instrument panel, and the only way to check error codes and reset them is with a diagnostic scanner.

Any CAN-enabled automobile diagnostic scanner should work (see example).
